If you accept, the funds will appear either as money in Google Pay or in your Google Pay balance. 
Tip: You can choose to block the sender on the app. You’ll get a notification that if you continue, your profile will be shared with the sender. Under “Pending activities,” review any transactions that are pending acceptance. Tap Money in Google Pay or Google Pay balance. At the top right, tap your profile picture or Account. To accept or decline money sent to you from a sender who can’t find you in the app: Within 7 days, you must claim it or the money is returned to the sender. If the sender can’t find you in the Google Pay app: You get a text or email from Google that says someone sent you money. The funds appear either as money in Google Pay or in your Google Pay balance. 
If the sender can find you in the Google Pay app: You don’t have to perform any action to receive the money.
