And Card Recovery Pro won't make any changes to your SD card, as it saves all the recovered folders into the destination of your choosing on your hard drive.
The alternate option this program offers is to "Resume Recovery", which is useful because it saves your place if you didn't get the whole way through the recovery process the first time. The process is fairly quick and, once it has finished, Card Recovery Pro presents you with a list of deleted files available for recovery sorted into file types (JPEG, WAV, etc). Then once the results are in you click again to recover the files. If you're willing to pay the full whack, all you need to do is connect your digital media device with the SD card in it to your computer, open the program, choose your destination folder and applicable drive (in case you have more than one digital media device connected), and click "Start Scan".
